Sooo... Hellooo!~

I tried to join the new Utah community, but it doesn't really appear to be very active either. My request to join has not been approved for quite some time. My name is Cecily, and I will soon be moving to Salt Lake City from Texas! April 3rd is my big move date! I don't know anyone living there, and I am moving all by myself... I was hoping that maybe I could make a few friends in the local lolita community! ^_^ I would love to find some frilly friends in my new hometown! And please let me know if there is a better way of getting in touch with the community members. I searched high and low for other places you guys could be hiding, in a totally non-creepy way. I swear! D: I hope to hear from you all soon~

Oh! Thank goodness someone responded. And so quick too! :D Please feel free to PM me whenever.

I don't suppose a Facebook group has been considered? It seems pretty convenient for this sort of thing, and the Dallas/metroplex one I am in is pretty active. Surely it would work out better than the LJ group appears...

And thank you so much! ^_^ I too am really looking forward to meeting you all when I get there.

I've been checking LJ frequently recently since it feels like it's been so long since I last wore Lolita/met up with Lolitas.

We were considering FB, Tumblr, and Twitter, I think. The problem is, there isn't a single social media platform that everyone uses. Though, it does feel beneficial to just make a page on FB, since it seems like a lot of people don't use LJ anymore...

Yup <3 It seems like they usually have a meetup in April (I've only really been part of the community for 'bout a year now), so there should be a gathering around the time you get to Utah :>
